Century 21 Smith and Associates broker Greg Freeman discussed the use of drones in selling farms and large acreages at the Trenton Rotary Club meeting Thursday.

Freeman said the technology allows realtors to record areas they might not be able to photograph and then put the recordings on websites such as YouTube. He noted Century 21 uses more than 800 websites to advertise properties.

Freeman then demonstrated how a drone used by the company works, noting the amount of paperwork has increased in the last 20 to 30 years due to regulations.

During the business meeting, the Rotary Club made final plans for the fish fry to be held at the Rock Barn Saturday evening from 5 to 7 o’clock. The event will include live music as well as a silent auction.

Admission will be $8 for adults and $5 for children under the age of 12.
