Princeton Board of Education approves teaching contracts for 2020-21 school year

Personnel decisions were made at two meetings this week of the Princeton R-5 board of education.

On Monday night, the board approved teaching contracts for the upcoming school year (2020-21). A resignation was accepted from 4th, 5th, and 6th-grade teacher Jillian Marsh. Athletic and activities extra duty contracts were approved.

At an executive session meeting yesterday, the Princeton board approved the custodial / maintenance position to Tyler Radewald. And it approved Bill Goodin to be the girl’s basketball coach next year. At both meetings, the district reported members of the community shared comments regarding school personnel.

Princeton school board members approved the salary schedule for certified staff and the wage schedule for non-certified staff. No details were given in the news release sent to the media.

In an update on the maintenance and locker room construction, it was reported Mike Homedale and Phil Stanley volunteered next week to complete the interior painting.

Princeton’s board approved the 2020-21 football co-op with the North Mercer School for junior high and high school teams. Multiple updates were approved regarding school board policies.
