Four Trenton FFA Chapter Officers spoke at the Trenton Rotary Club meeting on Thursday.
President Grace Allen, Second Vice President Allena Allen, Secretary McKenna Cox, and Treasurer Kayli Crawford talked about the FFA and activities.
The Trenton Chapter has 85 members, and Brook Kreatz and Kabel Oaks are the chapter advisors. Members must have a supervised agriculture education project, which can be in the areas of entrepreneurship or placement. Members keep records of expenses and income to help them learn about business and organization.
Practices are being held for Trenton FFA’s judging teams. The teams will compete at the district level later this month.
During the meeting, Rotary members were reminded about shoe donations for the Shoes for Orphan Soles project. Wright Memorial Hospital Internal Medicine Physician Doctor Hannah Smith visited.
