According to an announcement made by Vicki Weaver, NCMC Board Clerk and Coordinator/Presidential Search Committee, two finalists have been selected in the search for the next President of the College. This action was taken during an Executive Session at the North Central Missouri College Board of Trustees’ meeting on February 23.

The finalists are Dr. Lenny Klaver of Houghton, Michigan and Jon Marshall of Iola, Kansas.  Dr. Klaver is currently Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Finlandia University in Hancock, Michigan, and Mr. Marshall is Vice President for Academic Affairs at Allen County Community College in Iola.  They were selected from an overall field of 40 applicants and were among seven interviewed as semi-finalists in Trenton last week.

Dr. Klaver and Mr. Marshall will return to Trenton for second interviews which will be scheduled after NCMC’s spring break (March 14-18). Members of the community will be provided opportunities to meet the candidates; also to be scheduled are tours of the college and the Trenton area.  Dates and times for these activities will be announced after they are confirmed.
