The operator of a motorcycle was injured late last night when a deer was struck on Harrison County Route M west of Eagleville.
57-year-old Roger Behrens of Martinsville sustained moderate injuries and was flown by a medical helicopter to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph.
Behrens was eastbound when the deer was hit; the motorcycle went into a skid and came to a stop in the westbound lane of Route M.
Motorcycle damage was extensive in the 11:05 pm accident Sunday.
The report indicates Behrens was not using a safety device.
