A Milan resident was injured in a Sunday morning accident about six miles east of Kirksville after the southbound car struck a deer on Highway 11.
The highway patrol reports 43-year-old Angela Wilkerson received minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Northeast Regional Medical Center of Kirksville.
The driver was using a seat belt with minor damage was noted to the car.
