The highway patrol reports a Milan man was injured last night in a single vehicle accident approximately six miles north of Milan.
The patrol listed injuries as serious for 52-year-old Shawn Mosele of Milan who was transported by ambulance to the Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville.
Mosele was driving a pickup southbound when the vehicle went off the right side of a Route OO, became airborne, struck a fence and came to a stop in a field.
The truck was demolished in the 6:50 pm Sunday accident. It was unknown whether the driver was using a safety device.
