A driver from Honduras was injured when the sports utility vehicle slid off Highway 136 in Mercer County and overturned onto its top.
The highway patrol quoted 24-year-old Jesus Montes as saying his vehicle went off the highway because of a mechanical error.
Montes received moderate injuries and was taken by private vehicle to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton following the 6 am Saturday accident.
The SUV received extensive damage in the accident east of Ravanna.
