Linneus man life-flighted after crash near Meadville

A Linneus resident was hurt early Saturday when the car he was driving overturned east of Meadville.

Twenty-one-year-old Mason Gudgell was flown by medical helicopter to University Hospital in Columbia with serious injuries.

The accident happened two miles east of Meadville on Route Y when the eastbound car went off the right side of the road at a curve, hit a ditch, and overturned.

The car was demolished and it was reported Gudgell was not wearing a seatbelt.
