A Galt resident was hurt Friday afternoon when the grain truck he was driving overturned on Highway 146 east of Gilman City.
Forty-three-year-old Jesse Fletchall was taken by private vehicle to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton with moderate injuries.
The accident happened two miles east of Gilman City on Highway 146 when the straight grain truck was westbound and dropped off the right side of the road, returned to the pavement, crossed the center line, Fletchall overcorrected, and the truck overturned coming to rest on the driver’s side of the vehicle, blocking the westbound lane.
The grain truck was demolished and the patrol noted Fletchall was wearing a seatbelt.
