Kirksville man arrested on drug allegations

The Highway Patrol reports the arrest of a Kirksville man in Adair County Friday afternoon on several drug-related allegations.

Fifty-year-old James Baker was accused of the felonies of possession of a controlled substance—marijuana, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of synthetic amphetamine. The Patrol also accused him of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and felony unlawful possession of a weapon.

Baker was transported to the Adair County Jail on a 24-hour hold.
