The Highway Patrol reports the arrest of two of individuals in the area Friday evening.

Twenty-five-year-old Austin Steele of Cameron was arrested in Clinton County on a misdemeanor Macon County warrant for possession of marijuana. The Patrol also accused him of misdemeanor driving while suspended and not having valid license plates.

Steele was transported to the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office and is bondable.

Forty-nine-year-old Shawn Prosser of Stewartsville was arrested in DeKalb County and was accused of misdemeanor driving while intoxicated and exceeding the posted speed limit.

The Patrol notes she was transported to the Daviess-DeKalb Regional Jail for a 12-hour hold.
