The Grundy County R-5 Board of Education hired personnel for the 2019-2020 school year during an executive session.
Erma Newton was hired for the combined fifth and sixth-grade classroom. A contract was approved with Angela Huffman to provide nursing services on a contractual basis.
The board also offered a coaching contract for the girl’s junior high basketball team. That name is to be announced upon return of a signed contract.
