Just after 4 o’clock Thursday, the highway patrol reported 50-year-old Missy Obey of Riverdale, Georgia received moderate injuries in an accident one and a half miles north of Trenton. She was taken by ambulance to Wright Memorial Hospital.
The pickup was northbound on 65 when it began sliding on the snow and ice covered road; went across the center line and into the southbound lane. The driver apparently over-corrected causing the pickup to crossed back over the center line, the northbound lane, and off the east side of the highway where it overturned, coming to a stop on the passenger side of the vehicle.
The truck was demolished and Obey was using a seat belt.
