North Central Missouri College in Trenton this year graduated 420 students earning 440 degrees and certificates.

Among his commencement remarks Saturday, North Central President Lenny Klaver reviewed where the graduates are from.

 

 

The college had two commencement programs Saturday with retired medical doctor Albert Cross the featured speaker during the afternoon graduation for nursing students.

Doctor Cross, who’s a former member of the North Central Missouri College Board of Trustees, remarked that the graduates they should be proud of their college.

 

 

Cross encouraged graduates to take the very best care of every patient and to ask someone with more experience if they have questions.

He finished with a quote from Winston Churchill.

NCMC alum and Board of Trustees member Christopher Hoffman welcomed the new graduates as alumni.  He also said Cross’s speech brought one thing to his mind.

 

 

Missouri Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft was the featured speaker at the Saturday morning commencement program for students in programs other than nursing.
