A teenager from Cowgill was injured Sunday afternoon when the car she was driving slid on gravel and went off Soo Line Road in Caldwell County and overturned.
The highway patrol reports 16-year-old Lillian Jeffers received minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to the Liberty Hospital.
Miss Jeffers was using her seat belt when the westbound car went off the north side of the road where it struck an embankment and overturned coming to rest on its top. The car was demolished in the 3:10 Sunday afternoon accident one mile to the west of Cowgill.
The Caldwell County Sheriff’s Department assisted the highway patrol.
