Chillicothe City Council agenda includes public hearing, workshop and ordinances

The Chillicothe City Council will hold a public hearing Monday evening at Chillicothe City Hall at 5:30 pm to consider the distribution of nearly $245,000 of capital improvement sales tax funds. The distribution is to pay for the purchase of new emergency service radios for the fire and police departments.

The council is also to hold a workshop at city hall and will include the presentation of a 2017-2018 audit by the firm Conrad and Higgins.

The regular meeting of the council begins at 6:30 at city hall with the council to consider an ordinance accepting a bid from Blakely and Associates Consulting Engineers for diesel generator control upgrades. Another ordinance involves consideration of a bid from Saltus Technologies LLC for Digiticket software.

The council is to consider an ordinance to extend a water tower attachment agreement with Missouri RSA 4 limited partnership doing business as Verizon Wireless.

The agenda also lists comments from the public, city administrator, mayor, and council. A closed session will also be held regarding real estate.
