Bright Futures Trenton will offer two training sessions for those interested in volunteering as a Bright Futures mentor in the Trenton R-9 School District.
Superintendent Dan Wiebers will provide the training Monday, November 12 at 7 pm and Friday, November 16 at 5 pm both at the THS Media Center. Those interested in volunteering need to only attend one session.
The Bright Futures Volunteer Policy requires a background check, training by the district administration, and watching the district training video, “Smarter Adults, Safer Children.” This can all be accomplished by attending one of the two scheduled training session. There is a small fee for the background check. Volunteers may pay the fee or request that it be paid from Bright Future funds.
