A Missouri State Patrol trooper has been awarded a medal for helping to put three violent gang members behind bars in 2017. Missouri Public Safety Director Sandra Karsten says trooper Ryan Windham pulled over a vehicle in southeast Missouri’s Mississippi County and a backseat passenger began firing a gun at the trooper.
During a manhunt, all three suspects were arrested without incident.
