One of America’s oldest World War Two veterans spent Thursday touring Missouri’s Capitol and meeting with the governor.

Sidney Walton, who just turned 100 years old, has the goal of visiting every state Capitol and meeting all 50 governors. His son, Paul, says they are traveling the country on their “No Regrets” tour.

Walton of San Diego – one of America’s oldest World War Two veterans – regrets not getting to meet Civil War veterans and does not want others to regret not meeting a World War Two veteran. His son, Paul, says Missouri officials have rolled out the red carpet for them.

Missouri is the 21st state Capitol Walton has visited in the past year and he hopes to see all of them by the end of this year.
