The Highway Patrol reports an Atlanta teen sustained serious injuries when a utility task vehicle overturned on private property in Atlanta Monday evening.
An ambulance transported 15-year-old Hayley Berry to the University Hospital of Columbia with serious injuries.
Berry drove the UTV south at 518 West Marion Street before she reportedly swerved to avoid an animal, causing the vehicle to overturn.
Berry was not wearing safety equipment, damage to the vehicle was minor. The Atlanta Fire Department assisted at the scene.
