Two drivers received minor injuries in an accident Tuesday night at an intersection two miles east of Chillicothe.
Taken by Chillicothe Emergency Services to Hedrick Medical Center were 18-year-old Jazamen Campbell and 58-year-old Mona Cunningham both of Chillicothe.
Campbell was northbound on LIV Road 251 when she allegedly failed to yield when making a left turn onto Route V where the westbound Cunningham vehicle struck the passenger side of the Campbell car. After impact, Cunningham’s sports utility vehicle began to skid counter clockwise and came to rest upright on Route V. The Campbell car began to skid off the north side of Route V and came to a stop on its wheels.
The damage was extensive to both vehicles, and both drivers were using seat belts.
Assistance was provided by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department and Chillicothe EMS.
