White-Tail Deer Management Workshop to be held in Princeton

The Missouri Department of Conservation will host a White-Tailed Deer Management Workship at the Country Wood banquet facility at 707 Grant Street in Princeton the morning of March 18 from 9 o’clock to 11:30.

The workshop will allow landowners and property managers to learn about how to boost white-tailed deer on their land.

Resource Forester Jason Severe will discuss woodland management for deer, Conservation Agent Jim Palmer will discuss predator impact and implications of control, Private Land Conservationist Scott Roy will present information on early successional plant management, and Quality Deer Management Association Wildlife Management Cooperative Specialist Alex Foster will discuss establishing landowner wildlife cooperatives.

There will be door prizes and refreshments and participants should make a reservation by March 15.
