He was born on December 25, 1955, in Mercer, Missouri, the son of Hubert Archie and Mildred Kathleen (Stanford) Henry.

Bob graduated from Mercer High School in 1974. He was a devoted brother, a caring uncle, a hard worker, and an avid fisherman. Every summer, he could be found working in the hay fields alongside his brothers and nephews—a pastime he cherished. Bob shared a very special bond with his nieces and nephews, particularly enjoying playful banter with them. In his final days, he treasured moments with his great-niece as they enjoyed snacks and laughter together.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Ronnie Stanford, Donnie Craig, and Jack Henry; and a niece, Amber Henry.

Bob is survived by his brothers, Danny Henry (companion, Kris Henkels) of Mercer, MO, and Rodney (Lori) Henry of Rowland, IA; sisters Ruth (Danny) Berndt and Martha (Burt) Clark, both of Mercer, MO; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, at Evergreen Cemetery in Lineville, IA. Following the service, the family will host a lunch at the First Baptist Church of Lineville, IA. Instead of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for a monument in care of Roberson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 316, Princeton, MO 64673.
