Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop H will conduct driving while intoxicated saturations next month.
Commanding Officer Captain James McDonald reports the saturations will be in every county in Troop H in February. The following counties are served by Troop H: Andrew, Atchison, Buchanan, Caldwell, Clinton, Daviess, DeKalb, Gentry, Grundy, Harrison, Holt, Livingston, Mercer, Nodaway, and Worth.
The areas chosen for enforcement are based on a high number of drinking-related crashes, a high number of contacts with drivers who have been drinking, and officers’ input as to probable contact with DWI violators.
