Surface improvements are coming soon to Route CC in Harrison and Grundy counties.
Crews from Herzog Contracting of St. Joseph, working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, plan to overlay Route CC beginning at the south end of Route 146 in Grundy County Monday, May 1.
They will close the road in two-mile segments beginning at 7 am first of May, completing each two-mile segment, they will then reopen the finished segment and move north. The project will continue to U.S. Highway 136.
This overlay will take several days and should be completed on or before May 8 weather permitting.
Crews will continue with signing and striping the route that week with all work scheduled to be completed on or before May 12.
MoDOT adds if weather conditions and other mitigating factors allow, this project on Route CC may be accelerated, however, schedules are subject to change.
