The Mercer County fire protection district last Wednesday responded to a report of a possible abandoned structure fire. While on the scene, fire fighters were advised of another structure fire in that area.
Mercer County Fire Protection reports the fires are under investigation. Both were listed at houses on Route B, north of Mercer County Route W W.
On Friday, Mercer County Fire Protection responded to a fire alarm sounding in an assisted living facility in Princeton. The alarm was due to a faulty wire with the sprinkler system.
