As yard sale, garage sale, and rummage sale season approaches, the Trenton Police Department is reminding residents that posting signs on poles is not permitted. To maintain cleanliness and order, signs should be placed on stakes and promptly removed once the sale concludes to prevent them from becoming litter.
Per Section 215.1270 of local regulations, “It shall be unlawful for any person to suspend from or attach to any electric light or telephone pole, or any wire connected with any such pole, any advertising, and no person shall have the right to license or authorize any person to use such pole for any advertising matter as provided in this Section.”
