The Laredo R-7 Board of Education approved health insurance for next year at a meeting Wednesday evening.
The district will pay up to $400 per covered employee with three options. Mike Keith Insurance Agency will continue as the health insurance provider.
The board approved adding three more steps on the salary schedule for a master’s degree. The salary schedule is now capped at 15 years for a bachelor’s degree and 25 years for a master’s degree. The board approved a two and a half percent raise for Administrator Misty Foster.
The board also approved the extra duty contract for Shelly Burress as the I-Ready Coordinator.
After an executive session for personnel, it was reported the announcement for the secretary/bookkeeper position will be made at a later time.
