The Jamesport Tri-County Board of Education adopted the calendar for the 2020-2021 school year Monday evening.
Secretary Heather Turner reports the first day of school for Jamesport will be August 25th, and the last day is scheduled for May 20th, 2021.
The board approved a certificate of deposit investment of $150,000 for eight months at an average percentage yield of one point eight six percent with Home Exchange Bank.
A purchase of 120 laptops was approved from SHI for $35,620. Membership was renewed with the Ozarks School Benefits Association Health Insurance consortium and the board moved to seek bids for the financial audit for the 2020-2021 year.
In an executive session, the board offered Middle School/High School Principal Wade Hall a principal’s contract for 2020 to 2022 at a salary of $56,500. A part-time principal’s contract was offered to Elementary School Principal Pamela Cox for 2020 to 2022 at a salary of $31,650.
