An Humphreys resident was injured last evening when the ATV he was operating struck a deer on the road, two miles northeast of Humphreys.
25-year-old Spencer Ferguson was taken by private vehicle to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton moderate injuries.
The patrol reports Ferguson was not using a safety device when he was thrown from the all-terrain vehicle as it struck a deer that came onto Rock Road.
Damage to the ATV was moderate.
