Chillicothe police report: Thefts, arrests and accidents are all in a days work

Officers were dispatched to a report of fraudulent use of a credit device in the 1000 block of Graves Street. The incident remains under investigation.

Officers were dispatched to a report of a theft from a business in the 1200 block of Washington Street. Officers arrested Tammy Stark and Joseph Storey for stealing. Story and Stark were transported to the Police Department where they were processed and released on Municipal Citations.

Officers recovered a red 20” NEXT bicycle in the 400 block of Jackson Street. The bicycle was placed in storage for safekeeping until the owner can be identified.

Officers were dispatched to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 1400 block of Alexander. The incident was determined to be verbal and no arrests were made.

Shelby Barrick surrendered to the Chillicothe Police Department on a Livingston County Warrant for probation violation on the original charge of possession of a controlled substance. Barrick was processed and transferred to the Daviess DeKalb Regional Jail where she is being held without bond.

Officers were dispatched to a one vehicle non-injury accident on Miller Avenue. Officers reported that a vehicle driven by Elitza Crouch was northbound on Miller Avenue when her right tire dropped off the pavement and struck a drain culvert causing extensive damage to the vehicle. The vehicle was towed from the scene by Peery’s Towing.

Officers were dispatched to a disturbance in the 800 block of Elm Street. The incident was determined to be verbal and no arrests were made.
