On Monday, April 15th, the Chillicothe Police Department answered a total of 86 calls for service. The department also conducted several traffic stops and business checks throughout the day.

Detailed incidents are as follows:

07:29 a.m., officers assisted a separate agency in an investigation on the 1500 block of Maple St. No report was filed at the scene.

07:36 a.m., a two-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Waples St. and Cowgill St. Although neither vehicle was disabled and no injuries were reported, a report was filed.

10:47 a.m., a suspected hit-and-run was reported at Webster St. and Washington St., where a vehicle allegedly hit a stoplight, causing damage. The investigation is still underway.

11:33 a.m., a disturbance involving female threatening employees was reported on the 1000 block of Graves St. The woman had departed before officers arrived, and employees declined to file a report but wished to issue a trespass notice.

12:38 p.m., officers performed a welfare check on the 200 block of McCormick St. but were unable to make contact with the individual.

01:34 p.m., officers responded to a disturbance on the 800 block of Walnut St., which was determined to be a civil matter upon arrival.

03:09 p.m., officers provided advice on daycare issues to a citizen in the department lobby.

04:45 p.m., officers attempted to serve an arrest warrant in the 400 block of Jackson St., but the individual was not present.

09:37 p.m., during a traffic stop at the intersection of Jackson St. and Washington St., a juvenile male fled the scene. Although he was not located, officers seized a firearm and controlled substances from the vehicle. Two juvenile females were detained and handed over to their guardians, with the Juvenile Office also notified.
