A Carrollton resident was hurt Saturday evening when the car she was driving overturned in Lafayette County.
Fifty-four-year-old Cheryl Ford received minor injuries and was taken to Lafayette Regional Health Center in Lexington.
The accident happened on Highway 23 southwest of Waverly as the southbound car traveled off the right side of the road, went back to the left, off the left side of the road, returned to the pavement, and overturned. The car was demolished.
The patrol reports Ms. Ford was wearing a seatbelt.
