A Bogard resident was hurt Friday afternoon when the minivan he was driving went off a road in western Carroll County.
25-year-old Charles Smith of Bogard was taken to Carroll County Memorial Hospital at Carrollton with minor injuries.
The accident happened on Route D just west of Carroll County Road 209 when the vehicle went off the right side of the road, hit an embankment, and overturned twice before coming to rest on the driver’s side of the minivan.
The vehicle was demolished and Smith was wearing a safety device.
