The Community Blood Center the provider of blood services to local hospitals, will be conducting a blood drive on Wednesday, July 27, at Wright Memorial Hospital to help local hospital patients in our area that depend on life-saving blood donations. Just one donation can help as many as two local hospital patients.

“When individuals normally think of essential community services, they think about the fire and police departments,” said David Graham, executive director of Community Blood Center. “Community Blood Center and its donors are very similar to police offers and firefighters. We make up a life-saving team that is here to meet the needs of local patients. Our volunteer donors roll up their sleeves and do so without hesitation.”

Individuals in the Trenton area can help meet the local needs by donating blood at the Community Blood Center blood drive on Wednesday, July 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Wright Memorial Hospital education center, located at 191 Iowa Blvd. To make an appointment online, visit, click the Schedule an Appointment icon and enter sponsor code wrightmemorial.
