A Winston man sustained what the Highway Patrol called minor injuries when a tractor-trailer truck hit his vehicle one mile north of Cameron on Interstate 35 Friday morning.
The Patrol reports 69-year-old Kenneth Waln traveled south when the back of his pickup truck was struck by the tractor-trailer, driven by 53-year-old Tammy Reith of Belton.
Both vehicles came to a controlled stop on the shoulder and had extensive damage.
An ambulance transported Waln to the Cameron Regional Medical Center while Reith sustained no injuries.
The Patrol reports Reith wore a safety device during the accident, but it is unknown if Waln did.
