The Highway Patrol reports a Bethany man sustained moderate injuries when his tractor-trailer truck hit a vehicle in Clay County Thursday morning.
Sixty-year-old Gregory Querry attempted to change lanes on northbound Interstate 35 near mile marker 26 when he hit a vehicle driven by 33-year-old Amy George of Independence.
George’s vehicle ran off the road and received extensive damage. Querry’s truck had minor damage.
EMS transported Querry to the Liberty Hospital.
The Patrol reports both drivers wore a safety device at the time of the accident.
