Preparation is to begin this summer for the construction of a fire training tower north of the Trenton Fire Department.
City Administrator Ron Urton says construction on the five-story tower is expected to begin in August or September and notes the tower will be one of a kind for Northern Missouri.
Urton hopes the tower will bring other communities to Trenton for training.
