Community Action Partnership of North Central Missouri announces Zombie Run winners

Community Action Partnership of North Central Missouri has announced results of the first ever “Zombie Run” that was held on the walking trail and concluding at the agency’s office in Trenton.

Among the runners on the 5-K route, zombie run medals were won by the top three: first place Roberto Garcia; second Kristy Weldon and third was Ava Frazier, all of Trenton.

Among the Zombies (or infectors) who collected the most flags, first place went to Tessa Schlatter, second to Tai Smith, and third to Chloe Schlatter, all of Trenton.

Among other recognitions, Best Adult Costume was Geoff Christy of Moberly and best Youth Costume went to Tessa Schlatter of Trenton.

A quilt made by Peggy Schelker was included in an auction.

Seventeen businesses at Trenton were listed on the website as supporting sponsors. Proceeds from the Saturday night events benefited poverty-fighting programs of the Community Action Partnership serving the nine Green Hills counties.
