Annual July 4 celebration in Cainsville set for July 7 through 9

The 11th Annual 4th of July Celebration will be held at the Cainsville Ball Park the weekend of July 7th through 9th.

Activities for the evening of July 7th include an appreciation supper sponsored by Farmers Bank at 5 o’clock, an ATV poker run leaving the square at 7 o’clock, and entertainment by Jordan Crouse and Lifeline from 6 to 9 o’clock.

July 8th, there will be a parade at 10 o’clock in the morning, lawn mower tractor pull at 11 o’clock, pig wrestling at 11:30, a baby show at noon, corn hole at 1 o’clock, car judging at 2 o’clock, and Bingo at the American Legion as well as a kids power wheels demo derby from 5 to 6 o’clock.

The Crooked River Band will perform from 6 to 9 o’clock that night, girl scouts will serve cake and ice cream starting at 8 o’clock, a presentation of colors will be at 9 o’clock, and fireworks will begin at dark.

July 9th, a fishing tournament will be held at 7 o’clock in the morning, a community church service from 10:30 to 11:30, horseshoes at noon, a whiffle ball tournament at 1 o’clock, and the Cainsville Duck Run at 2 o’clock.

A cook shack will be open that Saturday and Sunday and gun raffle tickets will be on sale all weekend.
