A Princeton resident was injured on Friday afternoon when the car she was driving was struck from behind by another car on Highway 136 in Princeton. One of the drivers, 67-year old Corazon Gripp of Princeton, was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton, with what the Highway Patrol described as minor injuries.
The other driver, 49-year old Judy Worstell of Smithville, was not reported hurt.
Both vehicles were eastbound on Highway 136. The Patrol’s report indicated that Ms. Gripp had begun slowing to make a right turn into a private drive when her car was hit from behind.
Damage to each car was listed as minor. Both people were wearing seat belts.
