The Trenton Fire Department received its new aerial truck Wednesday.
The fire department reports the 2018 aerial ladder truck will replace its obsolete 1984 ladder truck. The truck will go into service once the firefighters receive training on it and get it equipped.
The Trenton Fire Department plans to hold an open house at a later date to introduce the community to “Ladder 9”.
The department notes the purchase of the truck was funded through the Fire Sales Tax passed by Trenton voters.
