Single-vehicle accident injures Moberly man near Huntsville

A single-vehicle accident occurred on Highway 24, just west of Huntsville, Missouri, on Monday afternoon, injuring a Moberly man, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The accident took place at approximately 4:54 p.m. when a 2007 Ford Escape, driven by 25-year-old Kenneth D. Sgrignuoli of Moberly, Missouri, went off the roadway. The Missouri State Highway Patrol report states that the vehicle was traveling eastbound on Highway 24, near the area .75 miles west of Huntsville, when the incident occurred.

Kenneth D. Sgrignuoli sustained minor injuries in the crash. He was wearing his seat belt at the time of the accident. Following the accident, Sgrignuoli was transported by Randolph County Ambulance to Moberly Regional Medical Center for treatment.

The Ford Escape suffered total damage and was secured on the roadside on Highway 24 west of Route C. 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Randolph County Sheriff’s Department and the Westran Fire District.
