Saturday evening filled with a host of activities at Calamity Jane Days event

Princess and Prince and Little Miss Calamity Jane and Little Wild Bill contests, as well as the Miss Calamity Jane Pageant, will be held as part of Calamity Jane Days in Princeton.

The events will be held at the Princeton United Methodist Church Saturday and parents should note that the Princess and Prince contest is for children three years of age. Little Miss Calamity Jane and Little Wild Bill is for children four and five years old.

Cameron Allnut will be the master of ceremonies for the contests, which start at 4 o’clock that afternoon with a theme of “Little Wild West.” Children do not have to be residents of Mercer County to enter and you may contact Kelly Bertrand or Christy McCracken to preregister.

Entertainment will be provided by Aspen Massey prior to the Miss Calamity Jane Pageant, which will begin at 7 o’clock Saturday evening with Trish Theiss filling the role of Master of Ceremonies for the pageant. Staci Willits will provide musical entertainment.

The girls participating in the pageant include Deja Collins, Esabel Holt, Megan Hydorn, Raven Moreno, Jarica Nelson, Autumn Saint Onge, Cailynn Stokley, Lauryn Waddle, and Kylie Willett.
