A road resurfacing project is set to begin on Monday, April 22, on Route V east of Chillicothe, extending north to Highway 6 west of Galt. This effort will include additional routes in Chariton and Linn counties, with Magruder Paving, LLC, at the helm of operations.
The project, expected to conclude by mid-July, will cover several designated routes throughout the spring and summer. During this period, affected roads will be reduced to one lane, with flaggers on-site to guide motorists through the work zones. A width restriction of 10 feet will also be enforced.
The following routes are slated for resurfacing:
- Chariton County Route Y
- Chariton County Route MM
- Chariton County Route FF
- Linn County Route DD
- Linn County Route Y
- Linn County Route 130
- Linn County Route FF
- Linn/Chariton County Route YY
All construction activities are contingent on weather conditions, and schedules may be adjusted accordingly.
