Linda Lou Scott, 76, of Bethany, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at a nursing home in Princeton.
She was born on June 11, 1947, in Albia, Iowa, the daughter of Roscoe and Josie (Hart) Thomas.
Linda was a police dispatcher and also managed a motel in Princeton. Her hobbies included crafts, writing, playing the piano, and gardening, with a special love for flowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George Scott, and her daughter Jeanette Meinecke.
Linda is survived by her sons, George (Shari) Scott II of Bethany, MO, Tim (Shelly) Meinecke of Leon, IA, and Gus (Selma) Meinecke of Excelsior Springs, MO; daughter, Jennifer Meinecke of Kansas City, MO; along with numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2, at Zion Church in Cainsville, MO, under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery in Cainsville, MO. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the church.
