The Jamesport Tri-County Board of Education approved an updated certified salary schedule as presented on April 10. Superintendent David Probasco reports an approximate three percent increase at certain levels for years of experience and education.

A five percent increase was made to the non-certified salary schedule.

The board voted to continue participation in the minimum teacher salary grant and Career Ladder programs, pending state approval and funding.

Approval was given to a bid from GRM Networks to update and install new security systems. The bid totaled $39,820. Work is anticipated to commence this spring.

The board elected officers with no changes.

Discussions were held on accounting software updates, summer school, the budget, and capital projects; however, no action was taken. The board also explored options for a new digital platform that would host both the district’s website and a mobile application.

Plans for the Early Learning Center were reviewed with no action taken.

The board entered into an executive session.
