The Grundy County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of Ashton Chad Arndt, a 22-year-old man from Gallatin, on a capias warrant for a probation violation. Arndt was apprehended in Harrison County on April 9. His original charge in Grundy County was a felony for the unlawful use of a weapon.
The court has set his bond at $25,000, cash only. Arndt is scheduled to appear before Division One of the Grundy County Circuit Court on April 11.
According to court documents, Arndt is accused of displaying a firearm in an angry or threatening manner to one or more individuals at 1103 McPherson Street in Trenton in January 2023.
