Among cases on the docket in Associate Division of Grundy County Circuit Court in Trenton were four individuals.

Jessica Lotz of Trenton admitted to violating her probation in two court cases. The probation was revoked and she was sentenced on each count to 25 days in the Grundy County Jail with the terms running concurrently.  She did receive credit for time already served.  The original charge involved two counts of third-degree assault.

Jacob Dalton Nunn of Brookfield pleaded guilty to fourth-degree domestic assault and was sentenced to 12 days in the Grundy County Detention Center.  Credit was given for time served. A plea agreement was involved in the case.

Imposition of sentence was suspended for Courtney Rae Michael of rural Trenton upon a plea of guilty to driving while intoxicated. She was placed on probation for two years and is to pay $250 recoupment fees, $100 to the Grundy County Law Enforcement Fund, make restitution of $825 to the prosecutor’s office, and pay court costs. Another charge was dismissed by the prosecution. A plea agreement was involved.

Marco Venega of Milan told the court he was unable to pay $213 dollars owed in costs and restitution on a bad check. The amount was converted to 12 days in the Grundy County Detention Center and credit was given for serving five of the days with the defendant remanded for the rest of the sentence.

Venega had pleaded guilty in July of 2013 to a misdemeanor insufficient funds check charge in Grundy County.
